The founder

The hobby belongs to the people.
We’re taking it back.

My first business was mowing lawns. By ten, my dad and I were lending out my money to help pay the bills. He had cancer. I lost him when I was sixteen.

A year later I was on my own. Second-grade education. Nothing going for me on paper. So I started selling on eBay. I’ve been building ever since.

Everything I build, I build in his honor, like he’s right here beside me. The Purple Panda is one of those things.

Today our boxes are on the shelves of 26 stores nationwide. Every one packed by hand, with a whole world called Pan behind it. And a lot more we’re not ready to show you yet.
