Because we’re the buyer, not a listing. eBay prices are what a card sells for after someone photographs it, lists it, waits, pays fees and ships it. We pay a posted price for every card that fits a tier, within 48 hours of delivery. You trade a little top-end for zero work and guaranteed cash.
Very Good. Light corner and edge wear is fine. No creases, tears, bends, water damage, stains, writing or peeling. If a card has been loved but not damaged, it’s probably VG.
Our list of players we pay extra for. Any tier with a ★ Star List price pays more when the player you type is on the list. Everyone else gets the “any player” price. We update the list as the season moves.

Tier prices are built for real cards in each tier. If a card's recent eBay sales average less than double our tier price, we pay half of that sold average instead. It keeps the prices high for everyone sending legit cards.
They sell differently. PSA slabs usually bring more on the open market than the same grade from SGC, so our prices follow the market. Both are welcome.
Anything on the chase list gets its listed price. Other case-level inserts and short prints pay the Other case hit rate. If you're not sure, add it to your quote notes and we'll tell you before you ship.
No. Every card counts once, in its highest tier. A numbered rookie patch auto goes in RPA /99, not RPA plus numbered.
You'll see it on the video. We either pay a lower tier for it or send it back, your choice. Return shipping comes out of your payout.
If a card's in the wrong tier, we email you the new total and the reason. Accept it, or we send those cards back and pay you for the rest.
Quotes of $50 or more ship free. We email you a prepaid USPS label with your approval, sized to the package weight on your quote. Under $50, you ship to us with tracking. For bigger packages we recommend adding insurance. Packages are your responsibility until tracking shows them delivered.
We build boxes with a wide mix of players, so we cap it at 3 copies of the same player per tier. Got more? Note them on your quote and we'll make you a separate offer.
Yes. We review every quote and can pass on any of them, for example if we're already stocked on a tier. Nothing ships and nothing is owed until we approve.

Upon receipt of a shipment, Valley Chase reserves the right to refuse, re-tier or return any card that doesn’t meet the standards in these buylist rules, including the VG condition standard, the 2018+ football requirement, authenticity, the per-player limit and the value floor. Refused cards are returned at the seller’s cost, deducted from the payout. Packages sent without an approved quote are returned at the seller’s cost. Valley Chase isn’t responsible for packages lost or damaged before tracking shows delivery. Payment is sent only after delivery and inspection, except Trusted Seller advances. A Trusted Seller advance is part of the payout, not extra. If a shipment doesn’t match its approved quote, the difference is deducted from the remaining payout or must be repaid, and Trusted status may be removed. Valley Chase decides who qualifies as a Trusted Seller. Prices and terms can change at any time, and approved quotes are honored for 7 days. Sellers must be 18 or older and the legal owner of every card sent. By submitting a quote, you agree to these terms.
